Creating breakthrough relationships with key business stakeholders is key for delivering exceptional results. Often, relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, regulators, and legislators, are colored by the mishaps of the past.
Gap International clients Patti Poppe, former CEO of Consumers Energy and incoming CEO of PG&E, and Mark Bassett, CEO of Hemlock Semiconductor, found themselves inheriting such a relationship when each of them took the helm in 2016.
Consumers provided Hemlock the power to operate their manufacturing plants.
Hemlock needed to drastically reduce their costs.
